Whole Lotta Jumpin' Fun!

In efforts to find new and fun activities to do, we tried something new yesterday. We met some friends and went to Jump Zone in Pelham! All of the kids had a great time, but us mommies may have been more tired from chasing them around. Of course, all Pierce wanted to do was play with things that were unsafe with bigger kids...but he did find a few that he really loved and were just his size!
One friend had so much fun jumping, she jumped right out of her shirt!
We will have to go back soon, maybe when the big kids are back in school!

Where's Pierce?

Normally, when you say, "Where's Pierce?" (which is his form of peek-a-boo), he does this....
....but the other day he decided this would be funnier (to go hide in the dog crate).I don't think our dog, Maggie, found it very funny!

We also tried cereal the other morning for the first time, we still have some work to do to perfect his method! I think he liked it though...

Rain = McWane!

It was a rainy, yucky morning here and since we couldn't get out and do anything else we met some friends at McWane. It was so much fun! The kids loved it and had a ball!Here's the sand table...
And the water table is a favorite, I had to stand right next to Pierce...he tried to climb in! Maury told him him no. Thanks for helping, Maury!

Rocky Mountain High

M went to Colorado (Golden to be exact) for a few days last week for work. They didn't have much time for sight seeing, but said the views were amazing. Here are a few....

I wish I could have seen the look on his face during his morning run when he got to a sign that said, "DO NOT RUN, BEARS AND MOUNTAIN LIONS LIVE HERE"!

Family Fun Night!

We had a summer family fun night at our church tonight with all kinds of fun stuff....bouncers, trikes, face painting, etc. Pierce had lots of fun, but his favorite was the bouncer! He was actually in it with kids much bigger than him and didn't even care.Here's Daniel, he's about 6 weeks older than Pierce. He was a little timid at first but decided he liked it too.

Corn on the Cob!

Who knew my picky eater would love corn on the cob! During the 4th, we had some fresh corn that my cousins grew, along with some yummy ribs. Pierce kept taking a bite of my ribs and corn, but I just thought he was mimicking what we were doing. Last night at dinner, he wanted the whole thing to himself!

Annual 4th Fun!

The 4th is an exciting time for our family, that means my sister and her family come over to visit for the week! We started this tradition several years ago. Our parents even volunteered to keep the boys for a night while us sisters and spouses headed down to the beach for a night! Thanks Gigi and Poppa!!

These cousins really love each other! Chapman was so sweet to Pierce. He's going to be a great big brother this fall!
Chapman really likes to cheese it up for the camera too...I think he gets it from his mama!
Each year we also have an annual pool day at my cousin, Ben's. It's always lots of fun!
And, I thought I'd get a sweet picture of the cousins before we left, however, they are looking like trouble here....frick and frack is what we've been calling them. We better keep our eye on them next year!
