Well, he FINALLY did it! Pierce is finally completely potty trained...one year later! I have been hesitant to write about this, but it is a big milestone for him. After months and months and months of screaming, tears, bribery of all kinds (m&m's, treasure box treats, new movies, etc...), and taking away his most prized possessions he finally did it. It's about time!!!
We have not had any accidents in over a month now so I think we are over our hurdle! We went to get Toy Story 3 this week which he has been wanting for a really long time. I have never been happier to buy a movie in all my life!

Craft Day & A Movie Date!
We had a busy Saturday! It started out by taking Pierce to the Arts & Craft Fair at our church. We ate lunch, made a few crafts, got a balloon, walked around to see all the goodies, and made it home with one small purchase...spiderman soap!
When we got home, Pierce was excited to see that daddy and the neighbor were cutting down a tree! He was very eager to help pile up the limbs. Thanks to Poppa, he's a pro at this!
Our day ended with a fun movie date with friends! This was Pierce's first time going to the movie theatre and he loved it. Tangled was at the dollar movie, so we figured it wasn't a big loss if it didn't go well. These three changed seats about 500 times during the movie, but they did very well. Pierce stayed in his seat when it went off and was ready to watch the next one. We will have to go back again soon!
Maury wanted to give Pierce a kiss good-bye as we left, I'm pretty sure she had an innocent one on the cheek in mind. Pierce had other plans...he planted a big one on the lips! It was hilarious!! I guess he can check off "kissing a girl at the movies" off his bucket list!

Spring Break Fun!
Pierce and I spent a few days of our Spring Break down on the farm with Gigi and Poppa. The weather was awesome, much warmer than at home! We spent lots of time outdoors and ate good food. Pierce was Poppa's shadow and would not let him out of his sight!
I am happy that Pierce is finally doing much better riding his "gator". He got really good at it and loved riding it! He even hopped on and showed cousins, Evan and Jace, all of his tricks. His favorite was to switch it over to high gear and go faster!
Another highlight was going to Lake Jackson to feed the ducks. Pierce LOVED it!! There were tons of ducks that would come right up to you, you could tell they get fed all of the time.
I wish this was our scenery at the park everyday!
And, of course, practicing our fishing skills! We even brought some artificial worms home in our bag. Ha ha!! Pierce can't wait for his friend, Carter, to go to the farm with us sometime soon!

We even got to stop in Luverne on our way home to wish Aunt Mallory a Happy Birthday!
A Zoo at the Zoo!
We met lots of friends at the zoo last Saturday for a playdate. To say the zoo was a zoo is an understatement! We definitely did not take into account the kick-off of Spring Break!
These friends were the only three I managed to get a picture of. There were several animals we were not able to see. We will definitely have to go back again on a quieter day. We did enjoy the weather and a picnic lunch with friends though!

Just Hangin' Out
Things have been low-key around here lately, the weather has caused us to stay in. Especially on days when I'm not working and Pierce is not at school. However, it does cause some silly behavior! He keeps telling me he wants to "get tall". Buddy, I don't think that will be a problem if you take after your daddy!
We are hoping for warmer weather next week during Spring Break so we can play outdoors!

Busy Weekend with Friends & Family
We had fun over the weekend visiting at Grandmomma and Granddaddy's house, despite the stomach virus that Pierce got. Highlights of the trip were riding his gator, going to Ainsley and Brooks' birthday party, and playing with Aunt Mallory's new dog (which Pierce thought was his and that we were bringing it home)! We got lots of fun stuff in during a short visit.
We found out the morning of Brooks and Ainsley's party that they would be celebrating that day and were excited to help them. Pierce loved their Toy Story theme! He also loves Jon Harper and was excited to see him too.
Two of the dad's decided that it would be fun to throw the kids in the bouncer. They loved it, of course, but I'm surprised that none of them got hurt!!
I also helped my friend, Jessica, celebrate the upcoming birth of her 2nd son. We hope to not see Baby Jaxon as soon as we saw his brother. So far, he is doing great! It was a speical day to celebrate with her.
Also, a big thank you to Grandmomma for helping finish some new window treatments for our kitchen. They look great!!
