Getting in the Christmas Spirit

I wasn't sure that Pierce would want to go to the PJ's with Santa event in our neighborhood again this year, but he did.  It's such and sweet time with the big guy.  I especially love all the really little ones that start screaming!

 My bunco group had a Christmas ornament swap for our kids.  They loved swapping ornaments, having yummy treats, and a morning out with all the moms.

We also made a trip up to BHM to visit with the Flowers family!  While we were there we cheered on Auburn vs UAB, got to go visit at our church and Pierce had time with Carter.

A Little Family History...

Gigi took us on a little history field trip while we were there for Thanksgiving too. We visited her grandparents old home, were able to walk through and let the kids see how some of their family lived, and heard lots of stories about it from Uncle Sam. 

It made a cute setting for photos with cousins they rarely get to see and they had a fun adventure!

Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving was full of family time which made our hearts happy! Except for sweet Maggie getting super sick and us almost having to tell her goodbye.  Thanks to Cousin Dara, she helped her and she's back to her spunky self!

We had time at the farm with the cousins and a big meal in Luverne with all the family! 

Lily Grace was pulling Pierce around to get him to do whatever he wanted...and of course, he did!

The boys loved game time and got very competitive!
