Random catch up...

Pierce ran in his school fundraiser "Pokerun"...we were both able to make it. It was a super hot day in November but the kids loved it and did a great job!

LG got her mom and dad to come visit for a game.  We sent them to the game and she hung with us for the day at the tailgate.  We loved our time with her!

I was able to pop in at school for Pierce's Thanksgiving meal.  I'm thankful for a flexible job that I can do it.
Pierce also took Aubie Claus photos this year as we were getting geared up for the Christmas season.  Aubie really is the BEST mascot there is!

Halloween 2016

As if celebrating birthdays wasn't enough craziness, we always get to add Halloween activities to it. This year, Pierce wanted to be Michael Phelps! Thankfully, the weather was nice so he wasn't cold...I surely wasn't going to let him walk around only in swim shorts.

We went to the clubhouse for a few activities before Trick or Treating.  His buddy, Trey, had the most creative costume!

The Raughton boys came over to go door to door too and help open up a birthday present!

Birthday Boys!

Another year has come and gone...Pierce turned 9 and M turned 40!!! How did that happen?!?! I can't believe my baby boy will be double digits next year!

Lunch at school...and I'm pretty sure it was "wear blue" day.

Cake for days around here but I'm so glad I have these guys in my life to celebrate!!!

Ole Miss Roadtrip

We made a camping roadtrip with friends to Ole Miss for the AU game at the end of October. Grandmomma and Granddaddy let us take their new trailer for our fun filled weekend.  We also celebrated both Pierce and M's birthdays too!  I had never been to their campus or stadium...we wish we could have stayed a few more days.

It was actually a neat stadium...especially the crazy lights during the game.

We won!!!

We stopped in BHM and picked up Jones on our way.  Three of the boys stayed with us at night.  They had the best time together!!

We need to make another roadtrip game next season!

No School = Chewacla Play Day

Pierce had a beautiful fall day with no school so we spent almost the entire day playing at Chewacla with friends. We hiked, had a picnic, hung out in the eno, rode bikes, played ball and topped it off with a cool treat at Toomers!

Another Broken Arm...

Pierce was victim to another broken arm this fall, this time it was his right arm.  He had an electric scooter wreck in the driveway and decided to catch himself on the way down.  He actually had bumps and scrapes all over...we weren't sure it was broken at first, but his x-rays proved otherwise.

First cast and his favorite cast color.

Second cast, which we were hoping not to get.

He finally got it off mid November.  He is definitely his fathers child!  I'm sure that won't be first or last time at the ortho clinic here.

LHS Tigers

Cousin Madison made the Homecoming court as a freshman attendant. We made it to cheer her on for her big night.  Pierce had his hands full with Lily Grace...she gave him big hugs, stole a lot of his chips, danced, and was excited about a touchdown!

Fall means football...

...plus a few other things. Like this Color Run 5k that Dana and I did on campus. Even though it was at night, it was super humid. The boys had fun getting dirty too!
We love when football gets kicked up around here.  We get to see friends in town, things are busy around here in general, and we get to go to reverse tiger walk which is not busy at all unlike Tiger Walk on gamedays.  Pierce just about inched his way up and was inside the door before it was over.  Ha!
I'm glad I got this pic...Carl Lawson has decided not to come back and will be entering the NFL draft this year.

We tailgated on campus with some friends and got a visit from some BHM friends!  These boys played football ALL day and had the best time.

Pierce, Landon and Grayson
Someone likes to entertain himself with selfies during the game...

We love seeing the Latham's on gamedays!

Bible devotion time before school...it doesn't happen every day but we shoot for most days.

The silliness I get during visits at school.

More Hoover visits during football...Pierce couldn't wait for Vaughn to be in town!

Game time just for these two!

Just when I thought he had gotten too old for snuggles I find this.
