Trunk or Treat
Tonight was our annual Trunk or Treat at church. There were lots of fun games, candy and food! It was so much fun to see all the kids in their cute costumes. Pierce did not want any part of his Pooh costume at home, but wore it all night once we got to church (well, I sort of bribed him with a ride in his wagon...but it worked!). We even ran into Molly, one of his old sitters, and his friend Austin who was dressed as Pooh too!

Friends & Family
We made a trip to Luverne over the weekend to visit with friends and family. Pierce got to play with Jon Harper & Tucker. Below are pics of him with Jon Harper (he's about 7 months older), I didn't get any with Tucker. They would stand up by each other and jump down together and sit...they thought it was hilarious!
Pierce and I also went to Troy on Saturday, it was Troy's Homecoming so we went to the parade, got to play with Jacob and his mommy, then saw Aunt Mallory at the Alpha Gam house. Grandmomma & Granddaddy are currently living in a construction zone since they are remodeling, so we needed to get out of the house. Apparently, it's hard to sit still for pictures these days too!!

Build-A-Bear...
...or a puppy in our case, named Charlie. We met several friends and some new ones at Build A Bear yesterday. The kids had lots of fun running around making bears. They got to pick out their animal, kiss and put in their heart, stuff them, give them a bath, pick out clothes to dress them, and get a birth certificate. The boys were definitely outnumbered, I think 3-7!

We finished off with a fun carosel ride and lunch!

Pumpkin Patch!
Yesterday, we met some friends at the Pumpkin Patch. The weather was fantastic and not a big crowd...ended up being a great day to go! The kids played games, some had faces painted, went on a train ride, ate lunch, played on ALL the bouncers, and played around in the field of pumpkins! It was lots of fun, maybe we can make it back on a trip with Daddy before Halloween.

Pumpkin Painting
We went to the library this morning for a pumpkin painting workshop! It was a fun outing on this cool fall day. We were hoping for some other activities outside but it was too cold. Pierce had fun decorating his pumpkin, but liked sticking the foam stickers on instead of actually painting. All of the pumpkins the kids painted are now on display in the children's area. We can't leave the library without stopping in the kids area, Pierce knows exactly where it is and runs for the door! He actually sat at the computer for a while since I turned on a program with letters...his current obsession.

Then we all met Gigi and Poppa for lunch and they surprised Pierce with a play coat for winter. Good thing, it sure is chilly!

First Haircut!
Yes, Pierce will be two in a few weeks and is just now getting his first haircut! He really only needed a trim around the bottom in the back, I'm sure it would have been easier to just do it at home, but thought I'd take him in for an "official" first cut. He did not want to sit in the chair, not a shock! Luckily, she made it super fast...I think we were in and out in 10 minutes.
There was a party in there at the same time for some girls, he liked the music and just wanted to get up and dance instead!
15 years later....
Last Saturday, M went to Luverne for a last minute scheduled 15 year high school reunion. I think he enjoyed getting to see some old friends! Here is Sims, one of his best friends growing up...not sure what this face is about?! Really, why can't guys smile in a picture with each other?
And, one with Amy, she's one of the most creative and sweetest I know.
M and Haley, one of my best friends too! M grew up with her and we were sorority sisters. If you didn't know she actually introduced us and thinks she's quite the matchmaker now.
Here is one with Martha Ann, his favorite teacher! She sang and played the piano at our wedding.

War Eagle!
The weather has been fantastic here this past week. It definitely feels like football season! What better way to get ready for gameday than to start out with breakfast at Krispy Kreme and an afternoon at the park!
Pierce doesn't look very happy in these, but he just didn't have time to take pictures!

Here he is cheering on the tigers a few weeks ago. War Eagle!!
