Day 5 at Disney!

On our final day at Disney, we let Pierce pick which park he wanted to go back to so that we could do his favorite things. Of course, he picked the Magic Kingdom! So, we got up, packed the car, and headed to the park. First, we had to make a quick stop downstairs to order some fresh beniets! I mean, we were staying at the New Orleans resort so we had to get some!! Now, off to the park we go...
Pierce was SUPER excited that we stumbled upon a sighting of Peter Pan as we were walking to one of our rides.  As we were standing in the relatively short line, we also discovered that Peter Pan is VERY chatty with all the kids.  During our trip to Disney, Peter Pan turned out to be one of his favorites.  I think since he loves pirates and Capt Hook, and Peter Pan fights with Capt Hook.  In the eyes of a four-year old anyone that fights is fun!!
Riding the tea cups yet again...somehow daddy always got out of riding this exciting ride. (hence the sarcasm!)  I also discovered it's pretty difficult to take a picture while riding these silly things.  M took a picture of us on them, notice there they are pretty empty (probably for a reason!), but we were so lucky during our trip to have very short to no waits on almost all rides at all of the parks.

Another chance to "drive daddy"...Pierce loves the movie Cars and would pretend that he was one of the racecars!
Pierce also finally decided after a few days that he wanted to ride this water ride with his daddy (I opted out since you can get super wet and I got stuck with the tea cups!).  They waited in line, were the next to get on and the entire ride shut down.  Guess we will just have to go back!
One of my last rides was this one with my sweet boy, he loved the roller coasters!  He requested that he ride this one again, but with me this time.
After another full day we collected some "prizes" from Disney, headed back to our resort, and headed home.  It made it easier to leave since it started raining, but we were all sad to go.  Disney truly lives up to it's name as a magical place filled with memories.  As we pulled away, Pierce sad, "Hey, can we come back next week?"

Day 4 at Disney!

AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! The Magic Kingdom...SO EXCITING!!!
We arrived early at the Magic Kingdom, hit a few rides, then headed over to the Pirate's League for the transformation to begin!  Pierce loved it all!  First, he got to spin the wheel to get his pirate name, a tattoo, and he then chose to look like Capt. Hook.  Here's how it happened...

Then, he took the Pirate's Oath to be a good pirate!
ARRRRGGGHH!
Learning about his sword!  Then he earned a special necklace that got him in a special door for the secret treasure!  He is now known as Capt. Christopher Gunskull!!
After our daily yummy snack and more exciting rides we hit the street party and jammed out!  Who knew my child needed some encouragement to dance?  I think the tiredness was kicking in.  We also forced him this day to ride in the stroller everyone said we would need.  He only rode in it twice the entire week.  He would get upset and say, I don't need that, it's for babies!!!

Our last character meal was at lunch at the Crystal Palace.  Another buffet all-you-can-eat which made daddy happy.  :)  In hind sight, I would have scheduled the Pirate's League later in the day so he wasn't dressed up the ENTIRE day.  He didn't mind, but keeping the Captain's moustache in place became a little difficult!

The Crystal Palace was full of fun characters including Pooh and lots of his friends!

Pierce was super excited to drive a "race car"!  This picture cracks me up because he is really zoned into his driving.  M says there is a picture like this of him and his dad when he was younger!
Pierce and I hit the teacups, the Dumbo ride, and several others before we caught another one of these shows in front of the castle.  This was the second time we watched it.  I had no idea he would love it so much!

After dinner back at our resort, along with a night time swim we headed off to bed for our last night at Disney.  Sniff, sniff....

Day 3 at Disney!

On this morning we headed out early to the Animal Kingdom for breakfast at Tusker House. It's a win/win for us since my husband likes an all-you-can-eat meal and Pierce loves characters! We were greeted by Donald Duck outside and shortly after we were seated, Mickey, Daisy Duck, and Goofy stopped by for an autograph and photo op!

After breakfast, we headed straight over to the Safari to see lots of animals.  This is one of my favorite attractions in this park!  If you look closely below you can see the giraffes!

Dinoland was probably Pierce's favorite, I think because it's catered to the little ones.  If anything was scary he would say, " I know it's not real, it's just pretend, right?".

The Bug's Life show is always fun!  Pierce was onto something when he walked in and felt a wet seat.  He doesn't miss a thing!
That evening we headed back to Hollywood Studios one final time!  We hit all of our favorite rides, then headed to the Sci Fi Diner for dinner.  Pierce actually said this was his favorite place to eat (even though there were no characters).  He thought it was super fun to eat in this car, in the dark, while watching a movie on the big screen like at a drive in!
We headed in a little early to rest up for our big day at the Magic Kindgom the next morning!!

Day 2 at Disney!

Day two started off with a bang as we headed back to Hollywood Studios. We hit some favorites, and got to meet lots of exciting characters, including Woody and Buzz (the Toy Story ride was his favorite there).  Mike from Monsters, Inc. was also a hit!  The Monsters, Inc. show came in a close second!!

Pierce was super excited to ride the Star Wars ride but did not love it the first round!  Later, on round two, it was much more fun!
Somehow, Daddy got us all to ride this super scary ride...The Tower of Terror!!!  Yes, my four-year old rode it.  He said it was super scary and super fun.  But, he did not want to ride it again!!!  We figured out quickly that he didn't care how fast or jerky rides were, but was completely scared when things went dark.
Next, we headed back for a little quiet time at our resort then hit Epcot again.  Pierce and his daddy got roped into running all over the park doing the Phineas & Ferb Adventure.  Pierce was REALLY into it.

We also had a fun and yummy dinner at Garden Grill with Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale!

We concluded our night with the awesome Illuminations Show over the water at Epcot!

Day 1 at Disney!

First stop, Hollywood Studios!! We arrived a few minutes before the park arrived and Minnie was there to greet us! Pierce was a little timid about meeting her (which we were suprised about), but I think it is because she is a "girl". We got Minnie's autograph, some quick pictures, then headed into the park!
After a few quick rides, it was time for our character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine!  They were not super busy so we got lots of autographs and pictures with the characters, along with participating in a dance party.  Jake was definitely Pierce's favorite!

The Toy Story ride turned out to be one of Pierce's favorite rides at this park.  Surprisingly, M got us all on the Tower of Terror!!  Pierce said, "It was super scary and lots of fun, but I do not want to do it again!"

He loved meeting some the Incredibles characters, posing here with Frozone and Lighning McQueen from one of his favorite movies, Cars!!!

Then, we headed back to the resort for a little pool time!  Pierce loved sliding down this slide!
Later, we cleaned up and headed to Epcot for a few rides and dinner.  Then, we took the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom to meet the Patterson's!  It was so exciting to see friends from home!!
This next one is adorable to me, Grace asked Pierce to play Ring Around the Rosie with him.  He was embarrassed and didn't want to do it because he recently told me that Grace is his girlfriend!  So I laughed with him all afternoon telling him we were going to see his girlfriend.  Ha ha!!

We had so much fun watching the Electric Parade with friends!  Grace stuck to M like glue since he held her and put her on his shoulders to watch.  She loves her "Map", as she calls him!

Day one was fantastic!  We couldn't wait to see what fun day two had in store for us!!
