Happy Birthday, Lily!

We helped Lily celebrate her 3rd birthday at Pump It Up last weekend. It was so fun and the kids had a blast! I think Lily had lots of fun with her friends!Pierce had so much fun he started crying after he ate when he realized we could not go back in the jump room! Several of the kids wanted their mommy or daddy to slide with them, but Pierce did not. He also had a special dismount that he would do to flip off the slide as he was getting off!

Happy Birthday, Lily! You are such a sweet friend...we had fun celebrating with you!

30 years later...

I've been meaning to post this for a while, just for scrapbooking reasons. Below is a picture of M when he was around two, I think. His mom is very talented and made this outfit for him. When I was pregnant with Pierce she gave it to me along with this picture of M that was framed in Pierce's nursery. Last spring, we had Pierce's picture made in the same outfit and he also wore it for Easter last year.

First of many....

Yesterday, Pierce and his daddy took a roadtrip (just the boys) to Atlanta for the season opener game. It was the Braves vs the Cubs...daddy's two favorite teams! This was Pierce's first Major League game and according to his daddy, maybe not the last! He must have been on good behavior!!

Easter Blessings

Putting out carrots for the Easter Bunny to snack on!Look at that! He ate on them!!
My loot from the Easter Bunny!

We had such a great Easter! While we missed seeing our families, we enjoyed being at home and are thankful for all of the every day blessings that we have!

After naptime, we enjoyed lots of time outside! Another egg hunt, t-ball with daddy, and playing in the water while we washed the car. What more could a little boy ask for?!?! We could not have asked for better weather...just another reminder of our many blessings from above!

Mickey Eggs!

We decorated and dyed our eggs this morning. Pierce loved it! He likes to be a big helper!
I told him he could decorate his eggs with stickers so here is what he did. I love how a childs little mind works!

"Good Friday" with Good Friends!

We spent Good Friday with lots of good friends! The day started off helping Carter celebrate his 2nd birthday with a dumptruck party. The weather could not have been any better! The kids had a ball playing outside. Pierce talks about Carter ALL the time, I would say he considers him one of his best friends!I love this one of Henry, it cracks me up!

We also went to his friend, Kate's house for an egg hunt. I think this is #3 for the week, so most of the smaller kids knew exactly what to do!

Austin was in the spirit of Easter with his "ears"!

Then when we got home Pierce decided to help daddy pull some weeds!

Easter Playdate!

We had a fun Easter playdate with friends yesterday! The kids had so much fun playing together, hunting eggs, and just being outside. It amazes me that with 11 kids and the oldest ones being only 3 years old how well they all get along!I loved Maury's "hat" while finding eggs.

Henry and Carter were serious about finding them some eggs!
Thr bigger kids---I love how Pierce seems to be sneaking eggs out of Olivia's basket and Caroline (top left) seems to have a mouthful of chocolate! She did not waste any time!! :)
Sweet Grant and Grace wanted in on the fun so badly!
Lily loved the rollercoaster!

Sweet Grant and Olivia!
Maury, Carter and Henry having fun in the sandbox!
The whole crew of kids minus the newborns, Brooks and Ella Grace!
We are so thankful for all of these sweet friends and are so lucky to get to spend fun times like these with them!
