Rain, Rain, Go Away...
Gym Playdate
It's not very often that us moms are able to coordinate our gym schedules but Pierce loves it when we can and gets to play with his preschool buddy, Chase! This was an extra special playdate at the gym since Chase brought him a birthday present!!
| Chase was explaining his very detailed picture/card that he made! |
| Sweet buddies! So glad they are still friends!! |
Tailgating
Silly Lunch
When I met Pierce for lunch one day in November at school, he picked Emma to eat with us. What cute and silly lunch date friends!!
Operation Shoebox
Pierce gets so excited each year when the shoeboxes show up at church and is very eager to get ours to pack. Of course, he decided to make ours for a boy, around his age! I think he just likes picking out things that he would like but I have to remind him that they aren't for him. It's also a good life lesson when he tells me he doesn't think they would like a toothbrush, socks, etc...but I remind him that not all kids have those things.
He was happy to pack it up and help me deliver it to church. I just remembered that we never tracked where our package went to it's final destination! I need to still see if I can find out!!
A Day with Rylee
I think it was Veteran's Day that Rylee got to spend most of the day with us! Her mom had to work, so she hung out with us to play. This first picture is dark, but it cracked me up because it looks like they are on a date!
Pierce had a karate class that morning so Rylee went with us...her mom said she kept showing her the new moves she learned while she was there!
These buddies had a fun and silly time together!
Disney on Ice
Sweet Mrs. Julie gave Pierce and I tickets to Disney on Ice while it was in town, since she ended up not being able to go. So, we got to meet Jessica and her sweet family for the show! I wasn't sure Pierce would like it since there were lots of princess characters, but there were several non princess characters he knew. He really liked the music and the "fireworks show" at the end!
