Player of the Week

A few weeks ago, Pierce was Player of the Week for his classroom.  They have a sports themed classroom (which is exciting for the boys), and one student is highlighted each week.  On Pierce's week, he had lots of fun activities.  He got to bring lots of photos for the bulletin board to share, bring his favorite book to read, have a special visitor for lunch (he really wanted Carter to come, but I reminded him he couldn't miss school!), and share his favorite movie.  We didn't have the Lego movie so he read instead!

Cloverbuds later that day was a super, big mess.  The kids enjoyed learning about snow, having an indoor snowball fight, and hot chocolate.  I had a big mess in my car from these two!

Sick or Skip?

Pierce had a dermatology appointment in Birmingham so we took the whole day out of school.  We had such a FUN day!  First up, a quick visit to the Reed's house to meet Baby Lily.  Then, we made a special visit back to SSC to surprise lots of sweet friends for lunch!  It was such a great surprise!!!
Vaughn, Emma, Alaina, Pierce, Paige, Mary Claire, and Ryan

Mr. Closed-eyes made a quick visit with Keller too!  Pierce seemed surprised that all of his friends still remembered him since he hadn't seen most of them since last May.
We killed a little extra time at the bookstore before we met the Coulson's for a sweet treat at Steel City Pops after school.  Sally didn't tell Carter they were meeting us!
The double homework the next night was totally worth time with these precious friends!

A Weekend Full of Fun

A few weekends ago, Pierce had his first RA lock-in at church...he loved it! He came home shirtless. HA! We later found it in the bottom of his sleeping bag. We enjoyed a date night with friends at Café 123, we will definitely have to go back. Yum!
After Pierce got home from the lock in, he had a few hours to rest up before basketball.  His sweet teacher came to watch him!

Time with daddy watching basketball on tv is the best.

Since Pierce and I were solo that Sunday, while M had to go out of town, we picked up Rankin and went to the movies.

The biggest part of the weekend was Pierce finally riding his big bike by himself!!!  He's still a little shaky but making progress.

Maggie's10!

Maggie turned 10 in January. She's been such a big part of our family...and Pierce doesn't know life without her!  She put up with a crying baby, then a crazy toddler, and showed him love the whole time.  We love our Maggie girl!

School Days

Pierce was excited to reach the top of the daily behavior chart one day...and the kids on his bus were matchy, matchy one day.  The sisters were not too surprising, but it was funny that he and Grayson were dressed identical!

His school had a fundraiser at one of the local pizza places, it was fun to go pick up our pizza in a box he had decorated!

New Years Shenanigans

We rang in 2015, with our sweet neighbors and lots of other families. It was impossible to get all the kiddos, but Pierce was glad we did this instead of us going to the adult party!  The next day we made a road trip to Hoover to see friends!
We cheered on Maury and Carter at their basketball game and had a fun visit with Mrs. Miles (one of Pierce's favorite visits!).

We loved visiting church to see so many great friends...with lots of laughs and playtime in between!
Thanks to the Coulson crew for hosting us!!  We can't wait to visit again soon!

More Christmas Craziness

Our craziness continued on Christmas day with a day full of family time. We packed up and headed down to Luverne...we enjoyed lots of family time, and of course, Pierce enjoyed more presents.

This robe from Aunt Mallory was one of his favorite gifts.  The ENTIRE family played this game...multiple times.

The most exciting of all gifts, was finding out that Mallory and Foster are expecting a sweet baby....we have also found out it is a Baby Girl!  We can't wait to welcome her this summer!!!

Pierce loves his new bedding from Grandmomma and Granddaddy!
