15 Month Check-up

Yesterday, Pierce had his 15 month check-up (a little late). Dr. Hardwick reported that he looked great! He only had to get one shot, but you would have thought that they cut his leg off with all the screaming that was going on!

Here are his stats from our visit:

Weight: 23.5 lbs - 30th percentile (so we think, he would not sit still)
Height: 31 1/2 inches - 50th percentile

He's definitely not a chubby baby like his mama was...one more thing like his daddy!

The most exciting part of all visits is tearing up the paper on the table!

First Trip to the Library

Today, I took Pierce to the library for the first time. He has really gotten into his books lately so I thought he would enjoy it. They have storytime for one year olds which includes, silly songs, fun stories and even a snack...his favorite! I think he was pretty excited about all the other kids too!

We came home with this book and another one. I just hope we remember to return them!

Water Babies

Today, we finished up our last water babies class. We've been doing it for the last 6 weeks or so. Pierce definitely wasn't the most excited baby in the class. He was more of a lazy swimmer and just wanted to sit back and people watch! I guess the highlight of the class was that halfway through, all the babies went underwater. He looked at me like, "what did you do that for?". But, there were no tears so that is always good. I think we still have a long way to go before summer though!

Our friend Carter was in our class too! He got much more into kicking his arms and legs.

Family Updates

I am definitely not much of a writer, but hope that this will help our friends and family out of town (since most are) keep up with us a little better. As long as I keep this updated! I'm not making any promises, but will try to make an effort. :)
