I'll Take a Piece!

Yesterday, we spent all day in Huntsville with family. Pierce's cousins, Abby and Madelaine, both had birthdays to celebrate. The day started at EarlyWork's Children's Museum with Madelaine's family and friends.
Abby and Pierce had BIG fun at the water table!
We also strolled around the museum and played a little...

This was a HUGE tree just inside the entrance made out of all kinds of materials. So fun to look at!
And look at the girls' yummy cake...
The highlight of Pierce's day was just playing with this balloon!

We had a fun day with family, we will have to go back and visit soon!

Another year older....

It has been a great birthday weekend for me! Friday night, M and I met some friends for dinner. Then Saturday, we all went to the park, and later Pierce helped make some cupcakes! He was actually interested in it, but enjoys the finished product even better!


(I know all you ladies are jealous of my super expensive, fancy mixer! ha!)

This afternoon we went to visit Gigi and Poppa and had a good home-cooked meal. Below is the first time, I think, that Pierce has ever had fried cornbread. He loved it! What is more southern than that and corn on the cob?!

We also went out to the "little house" (utility shed)and Pierce helped Gigi fill up her bird feeders. He thought he was really doing something big!
And isn't it just more fun to ride your tricycle with your tongue stuck out?!

Bacon anyone?

On Saturday morning, we had some yummy bacon with our breakfast. Who knew that there would actually be a pig in our backyard...or let me say hog. We have no idea where it came from, or where it went. It was the oddest thing, especially when these kids were chasing it around and knocked on our door to ask if we had lost it?!
I mean, look at that thing. Did they really think we had it as a pet?!

Countdown...

Football season is right around the corner...one little fan is getting ready!
This gets worn around our house a lot these days. 26 more days until it's officially kick-off time!

A Day with Daddy...and cousins!

Saturday, I was busy with a yard sale, so Pierce got to spend lots of time with Daddy. Uncle Mike, Aunt Melissa, Max and Madison came in town to go to McWane, so they joined them. We went to McWane not too long ago, but since the older cousins were around they got to do some other fun stuff we didn't see last time. Thanks Uncle Mike for all the pics, our camera got left at home!I think this is a game, but it looks like Pierce just liked to get on it and dance!

Whole Lotta Jumpin' Fun!

In efforts to find new and fun activities to do, we tried something new yesterday. We met some friends and went to Jump Zone in Pelham! All of the kids had a great time, but us mommies may have been more tired from chasing them around. Of course, all Pierce wanted to do was play with things that were unsafe with bigger kids...but he did find a few that he really loved and were just his size!
One friend had so much fun jumping, she jumped right out of her shirt!
We will have to go back soon, maybe when the big kids are back in school!
