What Happened?!?

While we have been loving this wonderful weather we are having here, it apparently brought with it some bad behavior! Our child has been getting in trouble lately on a regular basis and lately, multiple times throughout the day. He often needs an "attitude adjustment"! I will be happy to have another cold snap as long as it brings back a better attitude with it. Ha Ha!!

Yesterday, we met some friends at the park after naps. It was a GREAT day to be outside!

And here are a few after church on Sunday...

Happy Hearts

We rarely get to spend any type of birthday, holiday, etc... with my sister and her family. So, are hearts were super full this Valentines to spend it in TX! We had a fun Valentines day, first the kids checked out all their loot, watched a new movie, then we headed to the bowling alley!

Pierce really does love his cousin!  Even though we don't see them that often, it makes the time we do that much more special!

This was Pierce's first trip to go bowling, his most favorite part was wearing these bowling shoes!!!  Who knew it would be so exciting, he even wanted to wear them home!

While we were in TX, he missed his class Valentine's Party at school.  He loved getting all of his goodies from his friends when we got back....and is still enjoying the candy!
I love this cute little heart he made at school!  He definitely has mine!!  XOXOXO

Time in Texas....

We took our annual roadtrip out to TX to visit my sister and her family last week. It is a long, long drive but well worth it once we get there! Pierce and Chapman had lots of fun playing together this trip!!

They were very entertained by each others games...
Little Sullivan really could not be any sweeter, he's such a little snuggle bug!

Sweet Chapman always gives Pierce something when he sees him.  This time it was his old Thomas backpack, Pierce LOVED it and insisted on taking it to church!

Pierce's favorite thing at their house was "that jumpin thing outside", (the trampoline).  They spent a lot of time playing on it!
Our next to last night we cooked out, built a fire, and made smores!  The boys entertained us by dancing around and kept screaming, "he havin' a party!".  Ha ha!!

The weather was awesome, it got up to the 80's while we were there. We loved it, especially since there was snow on the ground here when we left. We miss you and can't wait to see you again soon!!!

Bring on the Cake!

It was a birthday party filled weekend! Pierce had 5 friends celebrating and 3 parties. First stop, Grant and Grace's fun Dr. Suess themed 2nd Birthday party!

Aren't these the cutest cakes?  Their talented Nana did such a great job on them!

For some reason, Pierce decided this would be the best way to each his cupcake. I promise, we do try to teach manners!
Next stop, Maury and Sarah Elizabeth's gymnastics party!

Waiting with Lily for their turn...

Pierce's buddy Carter was sharing his chocolate ice cream with him since he was sad he got vanilla instead. Sweet Carter!

We didn't make it to help sweet Ella Grace celebrate her first, but we hope she had a great day!

2K PJ Day!

Last week, the letter of the week in 2K was "P". To celebrate, on Friday they had PJ Day. Pierce loved getting to wear pj's to school and had fun reporting back what all of his friends wore. I think he was a little sad that some of his fun character pj's were dirty, so he had to settle for this...
And this is what I get when I say, "smile for me". Silly boy!

Under the Big Top!

Yesterday, I had a date with my two favorite guys to the circus and dinner! Piere's loved the animals and espeically the elephants. He wanted to stand up and dance around instead of sitting in his seat!
Ready for the show to start!
Pierce would say, "Whoa, dat was funny!" and "Mommy, I wuv the circus!". If you ask him his favorite part he will tell you when the elephants were sleeping (laying on the floor) and standing on the tables (performance stools)!

"Charwie...he's my fwend"

Pierce has rekindled his relationship with Charlie. A few months ago, instead of taking a nap he decided to pull all of the stuffing out of him and I found it in a mound on his floor. So, the other night Pierce helped me put Charlie back together and I sewed him up.
Charlie now eats, sleeps, and watches tv with him. He has even been on a few trips in the car and ridden as an extra passenger in the cart at the store.  Pierce even insisted that Charlie have his own plate for breakfast!
