"I got more!!!"

Pierce was surprised that he got TWO MORE stripes on his belt a few weeks ago!  He quickly learned and recited their "life lesson".  Mrs. Williams said that most of her younger ones take a while to learn it but that he learned it quickly!

House Decor

As I was getting out our Halloween decor for the house, Pierce must have decided that we needed a little more.  I found this sign attached to our bedroom door!

Game Ball!!!

My little ball player was  soooo excited to receive the game ball early in the season!  He was playing first base and got the first out of the game!!!  Coach Andy said that was a big deal for a first time player.  We are so proud of him!

Yard Sale

For some reason my child has been begging for us to have a yard sale.  We had a neighborhood yard sale in September and since we have a lot of junk to get out of our house we decided to participate.  Pierce told me he was the "crash register" man!  He was also my entertainment, as you can see, since we are not at the best location in our neighborhood and had some down time.  He quickly tried to pocket any money we got from his stuff!

Glasses

Pierce was so excited that he needed glasses, we picked out some frames and he got fitted for them.  It's taken me a while to get used to his new look but I think the excitement and newness is starting to wear off!

I call him my little old man because he often holds his head down and looks over them when he's not doing things up close.  I realized that they are basically like reading glasses so it's hard to see things far away.  It is pretty funny to see a five year old with glasses on the end of his nose!

First Stripe!

Piere was pretty pumped to receive his first stripe on his belt about two weeks into starting classes!!  This first one was for learning how to tie his belt independently.  Now, he can't wait to start testing to earn more!

Game Face

My little ball player insisted on some eye black before one of his games and gave us his "game face"!
