Christmas at the Farm

Thankfully, our Texas peeps got to come for Christmas this year!  We got to see them for about 5 days, which is very rare.  Unlike normal, I really didn't take many photos of the boys and decided not to live this visit through the lens of the camera.
Gigi bought the boys matching clothes, which was funny because it was almost too hot to wear.  We also got to see some other cousins that were in town.  Can't you tell they were thrilled for photos?!

We aren't really sure the last time we had a picture made together either...sad, huh?!

The boys played pretty good together and surprisingly, Pierce seemed to enjoy time with Sullivan!  Ha!

I think Poppa would have opted out on buying legos for Christmas had he known he would be helping put them together!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHAPMAN!!  10!!!  These boys never get to celebrate each others birthdays together.

Holiday Happenings at RES

December was full of fun things at RES! A few of them included the 2nd grade music performance, parent ornament craft time, the entire school going to an AU womens basketball game, a behavior celebration day at the movies, and a fun class party.

We have such a great class this year, that his teacher decided they were mature enough to do dirty santa as a class.  They loved it and it was pretty funny to watch.  Especially when the boys opened girl gifts!

Gingerbread Fun

The Casey's invited several neighborhood families over to build gingerbread houses and have dinner before Christmas. The kids LOVED building houses! We had some serious competition going on. There was one house per family and since Pierce was the only one with no siblings, Grayson decided to help him (probably because there are 4 kids in his family!)  Pierce was more than happy to have a helper!

Holiday Happenings

December quickly came and left.  I love the Christmas season, but it also brings a crazy schedule along with it!  Here are a few fun things we did...
Our annual Jammies with Santa at the clubhouse.  This is such a fun, sweet time for all the kids...complete with doughnuts, crafts, list writing, and time with the big guy.
I love that Pierce signed his name with USA!

The Christmas choir performance at church (these are some of the bigger kids), I always love watching the little bitty ones!  Along with the anticipation of reading Elf on the Shelf so Elfie would arrive.
The AU Hotel also hosts an annual Gingerbread House presentation from some of the building program students.  These photos don't really show it, but they made some great creations of buildings on campus!

Iron Bowl 2015

Due to Auburn's less than stellar performance this football season, we really did not plan on going to the game this year. The Flowers' invited us to do gameday with them, so we took them up (especially since we knew this was more than likely Will's last game with the team). Sadly, Auburn didn't win...but they did put up a decent fight.  Thanks Will and Faith for a fun day!  We are going to miss you terribly!!

Cam Newton and Bo Jackson were in attendance for the game and as always, worked hard to pump up the crowd.

I've been so grateful to have Faith here to experience this move.  Not sure what I would have done without her!

Sweet LG and her parents came to visit for gameday too and spent the night.  We loved having them here!

Gobble, Gobble

We had a busy Thanksgiving full of family and blessings. First we headed down to the farm, celebrated pretty much everyone's birthday but mine (Ha!) and had some special time with Gigi and Poppa.  We missed the TX crew!

We then headed to Luverne for more family time.  The bigger cousins were excited to graduate to a different table and not be stuck here and at the table with the younger ones!

Pierce, of course, had to get in his cuddle time with Lily Grace!

All-Star Bash

Pierce was able to spread out his birthday celebration for several weeks.  Sports Academy was closed for a while since they were moving into their new facility.  He finally enjoyed his night full of games and celebration with some buddies!
