Winshape
Pierce had the BEST WEEK EVER at Winshape this year, according to him. He did the daycamp in Auburn, but is already begging to go to the over night camp in GA next year. It was filled with fun activities, competitions, praise and worship time. He loved seeing friends from school/church and making new friends that live here but go to other schools. I think Pierce is already counting down the days til next year!
Our Favorite Guy
Dad is a pretty big deal around here and these two are pretty big buddies. I hope it's always that way. For Father's Day weekend, he let Pierce pick some things that they should do together so they decided on running (ha!) and fishing!
VBS was also at church that week. I had a great week helping out with the 3rd graders! I had the sweetest small group and we had almost 100 kids for all of 3rd grade. Whew! It's always a crazy week, but I am always blessed by these kids and learn more from them than they do from me.

Celebrations and ATL
In June, we celebrated our 15th anniversary...how is that even possible?! We surely aren't old enough for that! Since my main squeeze was at work, the little one decided we should celebrate with a special treat so we went to Gigi's. We went to dinner that night at Amsterdam's and are hoping to take a trip in the fall to celebrate both this and M turning 40! How did that happen so fast?!?!
The next day, we all headed to Atlanta for an early Father's Day trip. Mainly, to the Cubs/Braves game, but we hit a few other spots along the way. First up was the Infantry Museum in Columbus:
Next up was the game, it was funny they they were wearing opposing teams!
The Cubs did not pull out a win for daddy, but we did get fireworks after the game.
The one loves a hotel and the Ritz Carlton did not disappoint.
Pierce's pick before we left was the Fernbank Science Museum!

Memorial Weekend
We had a long overdue cousin cookout here in Auburn at Mac and Kate's new neighborhood. It was lots of fun and the grilling cousins had some delicious BBQ! The kids had fun playing near the creek, had a serious game of whiffle ball and cornhole, explored the garden, and time on the rope swing.
Memorial Day had rare pool time with daddy and precious time with the Evans boys before they moved! We are missing them terribly!!

Oh the Places You Will Go...
Not only is it hard to believe that our nephew, Max, is 18 but that he has now graduated from high school!
He was tiny when we started dating and probably 3 or 4 when we got married and was our little ring bearer. He is the oldest of all the "little cousins" and they all look up to him. Grandmomma and Granddaddy had a big family celebration at their house to honor the graduate complete with lots of yummy food, swim time and a ride out in the pasture and along the trails!
| This little one is on the go...all the time. She wasn't big on pool time, but she and I stopped to pick up every leaf she could find in the yard. |

This year, Pierce says he wants to be a "news caster" when he grows up!
