Pool Fun on a Warm Afternoon

Pierce had some fun in the pool this afternoon. He didn't even seem to mind that it was his baby pool from last year!

Family Time

Last week and over the weekend we visited with lots of friends and family. Unfortunately, I didn't take very many pictures or there would be LOTS of kiddos to see. We went to Luverne to see Grandmama and Grandaddy, played with cousins and lots of friends. Thanks to Aunt Mallory, she's always lots of fun and big help!

We also headed further south and visited with my parents. Not sure which one was sleeping harder...
And, an afternoon playing at the lake with cousins...

A Day for Momma's

We had a nice weekend at home for Mother's Day. On Saturday, we had an event to attend at Oak Mountain. Pierce had a ball running around, playing with sidewalk chalk and bubbles!Here's a pic of Pierce and I before church. He's such a sweet boy, I'm so honored to be his Momma!Gigi was out of town most of the weekend, but we were able to meet her for dinner. Pierce LOVES him some Gigi, so do we!Several weeks ago, we went to Painted By U to work on my Mother's Day gift...

An apple a day.... & the Big Apple

An apple a day will hopefully keep the dr away! Today we went in for Pierce's 18 month well baby visit. Dr. Hardwick said he looked great! He got a few shots and barely cried (screamed a little for drama, but no tears!). Here he is "reading" a book, waiting to go back and see the dr.He's a pretty lean little boy, 50% in height and weight. 25 lbs and 32 1/4 inches long.
Now onto the Big Apple.... His daddy was in NYC for several days this week. Sidenote: I've debated on how to refer on this blog to my sweet hubby, he goes by several names (Matt, Matthew, Daddy...and others I probably shouldn't mention). If you know him by one name, it's weird to hear the other. So, I think he will just be M...if you have suggestions, let me know. :) Back to the Big Apple....anyway, M went for "work" but they did have some time to play and do some sight seeing while they were there.

18 Months!

I can't believe our sweet boy is already 18 months! Time is going by so fast!! This is such a fun age to watch him explore, discover things, and become much more independent. I am so glad that I can be with him more right now to experience all of this with him. Pierce LOVES to be outside and would stay out there all day if he could. As you can see, he still doesn't have a full head of hair either. Guess we are saving money on haircuts?! He's not talking a whole lot yet, but I guess we should enjoy these quiet days while they last!
