Pig Iron Classic & A Lunch Date

On Friday night the Coulson's invited us to join them at the Pig Iron Classic. It was lots of fun! We all ate plenty of yummy BBQ and the kids danced the night away! Unfortunately,we didn't get very many pictures and most of them were fuzzy.

Walking the plank with the pirates!

Pierce was really excited to see a Dr. Seuss themed booth, he decided to sit down a Who-ville and have some cheetos!
We also saw the Adams family before we left. Pierce was not scared of them at all and wanted to tell them, "Happy Halloween".
We met Gigi and Poppa for lunch on Saturday to celebrate both Pierce's and M's birthdays.

Pierce loves the tools and work bench that they gave him! Safety first!!

"Trick or Treat"

Last night was our annual Fall Party at church. The kids had lots of fun playing games, getting candy, and checking out each others costumes. Pierce would run up to people and say, "trick or treat!" to get candy or "ARGHHH!" like a pirate. Guess he's ready to knock on a few doors!
Playing for candy!

Jack the Doctor and Pierce.
I couldn't get many pictures with friends, they were all too busy! Pierce got plenty of candy in his bucket and is ready to go back for more this weekend!

We also met Hudson at the zoo this week and got to see some of the Boo at the Zoo exhibits!

On the Road & Birthday Fun

We had a very busy weekend, it started right after school with Hudson's birthday party and then we headed south to Grandmomma and Granddaddy's house.  Pierce had lots of fun at the park with Hudson and friends.  Suprisingly, he was probably the child that sat the longest to eat.  He must not have eaten his lunch at school!

Birthday boy, Hudson!

Little Grant LOVES his food!! He was so excited he hugged his pizza when it was time to eat!
Pierce had lots of fun with family while his daddy and I went to Auburn for the day. He even got an early birthday present from Aunt Mallory!

"I Dot A Wetter!"

Recently at school, Pierce's class has been talking about community helpers.  He's been excited to talk about the firetruck, mail carriers, and the library.  Over the weekend, he told us he was riding his "work car" to work.  When we asked him where he worked he said, "the mail office and library".  Today, he received a letter in the mail that they mailed from school.  He was so excited to get it!  He said, "I dot a wetter!", (I got a letter!).
I have also been suffering terribly from a sinus infection lately. I had to force myself to do a sinus rinse a few days ago and Pierce decided to cheer me on.  Tonight, he got the bottle and said, "I take Mommy medicine!".

Pumpkins!

Yesterday, we headed to Old Baker Farm to meet lots of friends for a preschool playdate.  We had lots of fun petting farm animals, going through a maze, riding tractors, playing in a trailer full of cotton, climbing hay bales, going on a hayride, and picking our pumpkins!

Some of our friends.... Emme and big brother, Taylor!
Way on top of the highest hay bale, you can't tell here but I think it was about 4 hay bales high.
It was such a hot day!  Maury, Carter and Pierce were being so sweet together!
Pierce was so excited about the hayride!

I love Carter's expression here...

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Down on the Plains...

We had a great family day down on the plains yesterday!  The weather was great, but got hot inside the stadium.
