Last week, Pierce decided to get out of his crib one morning, so we decided it was time to upgrade! We frantically had to go out and buy mattresses, a bed, sheets, bed rails, etc...this past week. Last night we got most of it put together just in time for bedtime. Pierce was so proud and excited about his new bed!
Since his bedding has not arrived yet, I pulled out an old quilt that my grandmother made a long time ago. She made it out of some of my grandfathers old flannel shirts and some other scrap materials that she had. Neither one of them ever got to meet Pierce, but it is sweet that part of them was with him as he slept last night.
He slept great last night...so far, his big boy bed is a hit!

We also made these little treat bags last week for his friends at school!
Maury had her 3rd Birthday over the weekend so we got to help her celebrate! If was a fun party with yet another sweet treat...cupcakes!
